
Library And Media Services
You can check what books your child has out by going to Destiny on the library webpages and logging in with your student's Computer Lab name & password. Overdue notices will be sent out once per trimester.
Resources For Parents
When do students visit?
- Grades PreK – 2 spend 30 – 40 minutes in the library each week
- Grades 3 – 6 visit the library on a weekly or bi-weekly basis scheduled by the classroom teacher
- Additional blocks of time can be scheduled depending upon the needs of the classroom teachers and students, to work on information and or research skills related to their curriculum
Lost Or Damaged Materials
- We expect the borrower to replace or pay for the item
- Patrons with overdue, missing or damaged materials may have their borrowing privileges suspended until the matter is resolved
Checking out books
- Periodicals are for grades 2-6
- Playaways are for grades 4-6
- Grades Pre K & Kindergarten may check out one book at a time
- Grades 1-2 may check out up to two books at a time
- Grade 3 may check out 3 books and a periodical at a time
- Grades 4-6 may check out four books and a periodical at a time

Checked Out Materials
- Students may check the status of what they have checked out whether they are in school or at home
- Using any School Computer the students can access Destiny (our online catelog), and check what books they have out and when they are due
- Destiny can be accessed at home through our school website using their username and password
